Hi, I’m Doula Barb.
I’m a birth & postpartum doula, childbirth educator, potty training consultant and positive discipline parent educator. I’m also a mom of 2.
My passion for birth & babies began way back in ‘03. Learning about little brains fascinated me so I spent the next 6 years working as an Early Childhood Educator (birth through age 5) and a Communities in Schools volunteer.
Later, after the birth of my first child, I realized how much support was missing for birthing families. In 2013, I certified as a Professional Birth & Postpartum Doula and spent the next twelve years working as a doula, agency owner & childbirth educator.
I’m retired now from doula work but combined my love for birth, babies, and toddlers into my own new baby - doulabarb.com. Here, I offer support from pregnancy through potty training with a mix of in-person and online classes.
